THE CURMUDGEON CHRONICLE - 2008 XMAS CARD

THE CURMUDGEON CHRONICLE ©

AN IRREVERENT VIEW

Time Line: December 19, 2008
Date Line: Flemington New Jersey

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

The Chronicle has selected the candle as its Holiday symbol this year in the hope that it:

Will help us find honest men on Wall Street and in Washington
Will guide politicians on the path of righteousness
Will burn at both ends so we can enjoy our time on earth
Will illuminate and expose unclothed Emperors
Will put an end to electric lights powered by foreign oil**
Will show Santa the way to our homes.

Thanks for your support, comments, and patience with us during the past year which has flown by so quickly that it seems like a mere twelve months.

A final word about silver linings: They are usually found in clothing, not in the stock market.

Howard Stamer

** Inserted for T. Boone Pickens, humanitarian and “Swift-Boater”.
